Dear Space Camp Participant, Parent, and Chaperone:
I hear from chaperones and parents all of the time about the energy, excitement, the social experience, life-long friends, and all of the other positive comments that are a result of one week at Space Camp. I always say, “Put that in writing and send it to me”. Sometimes they do, but more than not, they don’t.
Well, now it is time to sit down and put on paper your thoughts, comments (both positive and negative), success stories, and ideas. These will be accumulated and sent to the Space Camp Foundation in Huntsville, Alabama. A letter will be drafted and sent out to possible funding sources across the United States and hopefully, Canada and other countries. We hope to attract funding from a number of organizations. This funding will be a direct benefit to campers, in the form of tuition grants, equipment, programming and organizational cost.
I know we are all coming upon a busy season but please take a few minutes to let me know your thoughts and ideas.
